Liam Flood & Jennifer Lory-Moran (USA)

Liam Flood and Jennifer Lory-Moran studied at the Royal Carillon School “Jef Denyn” in Belgium during the 2025–2026 school year. Jennifer has been playing carillon since 2012 and Liam since 2020. They began playing duets together at school, and they have the most fun playing jazz standards and iconic songs from musicals and movies. They both come from the United States and before they began learning to play the carillon they first played the chime, a uniquely American type of bell instrument related to the carillon. Jennifer is advisor for the Cornell University Chimes programme in Ithaca (New York) and has played that 21-bell instrument for over 30 years. Liam played the 15-bell chime at the University of Illinois from 2017–2020. Since coming to Belgium, Jennifer and Liam have enjoyed playing as many carillons in Europe as they could reach and they are excited to play in Cobh for the first time
