Oisín Dilger (Ireland)

Originally from Galway, Oisín obtained a music degree from University College Cork during which he began studying carillon with Adrian Gebruers. He received the Quercus Scholarship of Performing Arts in 2023 and the following year the Staf Gebruers Memorial Award. He is currently in his second and final year of study at the Royal Carillon School in Mechelen (Belgium) and has already played across Belgium, The Netherlands and in the USA as well as in Cobh. He is also studying organ at the Conservatory of Mechelen. His main interests in carillon performance are the Baroque repertoire and playing jazz. A member of the Irish Composers’ Collective, Oisín is an active contemporary composer and arranger and has had a number of chamber works receive live performances in Ireland.
